i'm watchin the movie again right now, and i noticed this...in the beginning Malik tells Saeed "we don't discuss business over the phone," but soon (when they arrive in Hong Kong) the phone becomes an integral part of the business.... :oo:

Possibly because then he was operating in Mumbai itself, and now that he's abroad, no one can trace him easily?

and the whole Scarface-inspired "what do the kids have to do w/ this" thing, really bothers me...rgv could've used a lil creativity and came up w/ somethin else....

you know something weird..

when i first watched company, i thought kya shandaar movie hai!

but later on, i began to have the opinion, and i still do, that company is nothing but a commerical version of satya, that isn't even close to as hard-hitting as the latter...

COMPANY had a few huge inconsistencies in its script. Which is also why I think Ram Gopal Verma should always get Anurag Kashyap to write his scripts, there history in the past shows that they are almost flawless together(technically).

Saurabh Shukla (Kallu mama) co-wrote Satya with Anurag Kashyap. Speaking of Kashyap, wasn't there some tiff with the censors over a film he directed? Has that film been shelved?

Last I heard, Paanch has passed through the Indian Censor boards. But the films problems on hand is that it doesn't have any buyers in the Indian Market or the overseas. From a business point of view, there is absolutely nothing sell-able about the film.
