I need some help guys, I lent Hum dil dey chucke sanam dvd to an English guy I know who is into Bollywood films, he loved it so much he wants to go to one of the locations he saw in a song. (He's been to India before already and wants to go back)

The song is where Samir (Salman khan) is being taught how to sing by Ashs father. They are sitting outside,
The father sings a few notes and then Salman copies him. "In the background there is a huge palace that is on a lake.
Some of the pillars of the castle are actually in the lake."

Does anyone know where this "Castle" is? :oh:

I don't know here that actual scene was shot, but I do know that the area they filmed for the Indian locations was in Kutch, Gujarat. I also know a friend who saw filming there as well as in the making of HDDCS. Lagaan was also filmed around the same area, in a town called Bhuj (of which the Indian Earthquake took place).
If he asks around in tourist info in Kutch they might be able to tell him exactly where.
