CNET.com Downloads

Best place to download any type of software. Mostly shareware, so if you like the program, download the crack from Kazaa and now you have Freeware. :kungfu:

Get PowerDVD XP 4.0. The features are outstanding and better than WinDVD. The link here describes those features : http://www.gocyberlink.com/english/prod ... ?ProdId=28
You can buy the software from that site as well but i you want to go the other way...then look in WinMx or Kazaa. :p

Hi. I don't know how helpful this maybe but i do know when i bought a copy of JFK *ing (Kevn Cosner). As soon as I poped into my pc it downloaded a free dvd player on my pc. You may want to rent the DVD and check it out. Hope it helps.

Some DVDs come with basic DVD player for PC. Most likley Interactual Player (PCFriendly). These player are good for viewing DVD ROM extra. Not movie.

I recommend PowerDVD for commercially available player and ZoomPlayer a freeware DVD Player software for Windows base platform.

download one of those peer to peer sharing program...kaaza is the one i am using since it got more users than any other P2P program....then type in whatever dvd player u want and u will get the FULL version....this is only if u dont want to spend money....if u are broke like me, then this is the best way to get programs :) ..... see what i do is i go to that http://www.download.com and then there i search for a dvd player...whatever dvd player has good rating, i go in Kaaza and i get it from there....if u have a fast connection, then u are in buisness....cause it takes long time to download it cause its FULL VERSION ....well also if u get someone who has a HIGH BANDWITH, u can download faster....i usually do my downloads at night and by the time i wake up, ta daooo...its in my desktop :) ....well good luck....

i am using "PowerDVD XP 4.0" ....type that in download.com....u only get 30 days to check it out or u can do what i just told u.....the criminal way i guess :)

Thank you all for your replies.

I have downloaded the trial version of PowerDVD, but it said that it will only play for 30mins at a time.

I have just had a look at the Kazaa Website (this P2P thing is new to me). I understand that I need to download Kazaa software, which will then enable me to search for completely free version of PowerDVD. I do not have any files that I want to share, and also am a bit concerned that people might be able to access my personal data or do something malicious i.e. virus etc. The User Reviews are not very encouraging, in fact they are very worrying. I think I might just try what raj_d suggested or guess I will just fork out for the full version, but trouble is no money at the moment.

Thanks.

Try WinMX then, it doesn't have any spyware or anything that sends information from your computer to their servers. Search for Power DVD Xp 4.0 with "crack" (term for hacked software) and download it. I think it should be around 6 Megabytes. Hope that helped.

DONT Download anything from KAZAA..... It contains spyware..
Download it from http://www.kazaalite.com

once it begins... search for PowerDVD and take the 4.0XP version....

It should have a crack with it or a serial number
