SHANKER ESHAN LOY SIGNED BY KARAN JOHAR!
The trio will produce music for Karan Johar's home production!

After the success of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, director Karan Johar is working hard on the planning process for his next home production.

He is currently writing the script for the love triangle, which will be directed by his associate director Nikhil Advani and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

Radio Sargam has also heard that Shanker Eshaan Loy are likely to doing the soundtrack for the film, whilst Javed Akhtar will write the lyrics.

These certainly are great times for the music trio Shanker, Eshaan and Loy, who seem to be signing some of the hottest projects around at the moment!

:baaa:

Just as ARR bgave us freshness when he composed music for the film ROJA... SEL , IMO, are the best music directors around today, in the sense that they have a tendency to give us fresh tracks...and thankfully original tracks. Lil wonder I enjoyed their tracks in MK, DCH & know YKHRH...
Hopefully they can recreate the magic of DCH when Javed Akhtar penns the lyrics !

Not again!!! It's always that bloody Shah Rukh Khan. He's too repetitive, overacts and is in too many of these typical Yash Raj eye-candy crap!

now! now! lets not get too angry, is it his fault that he's the only one the can get the incompetent losers at the Johar & Chopra banner there only hits in recent times? Having said that, Shah Rukh Khan's own home production has produced better films, recently speaking.

Khiladi - the people love SRK, especially in family dramas/romances, so as long as he's popular (probably forever), he will ALWAYS be in these films!!! And you get to forget that SRK has a bond with Chopra/Johar much like AB did in the 70s with Chopra. Now that AB is popular once again, these movies will always have the AB-SRK combo, along with a younger hero ie. Hrithik, Akshay, Vivek etc.

But you don't have to worry cause Akshay is moving up really fast now (about time!!) and should be joining the higher class very soon...

darius,

I don't like that Akshay Kumar either! These Yash Raj films are too fake, too pretentious, don't people get bor3ed of seeing him in the same role time after time? I think he should try making better films like aamir has done in Lagaan, DCH, etc. If he is 'supposedly' a great actor, why doesn't he go for the better movies? He can't just be interested in money spinners can he? He tried it with Asoka, but i don't think that was very successful. And Devdas had something that was lacking. But other that that, he keeps repeating himself with the same kind of movie.

About Akshay Kumar... I was not a fan of his either (at ALL) until I saw this really crappy movie the other day, Sangharsh, an older Tanuja Chandra film co-starring Preity Zinta. While it (sadly, so sadly) lowered my opinion of Preity, it actually boasted a pretty impressive performance by Akshay. I think the main problem with him is that most of the time, he gets crap parts with no authorial backing. But as a psycho, he wasn't bad at all.

Sangharsh is actually an altered remake of Hollywood's Silence of the Lambs. He was pretty good in it. He sometimes does surprise me with a few of his films like Hera Pheri, Ek Rishtaa, Dhadkan Aankhen, etc. And for some strage reason I liked the Khiladi series. He is now getting some different roles like the villan in Ajnabee. But those films he made in his earlier days with saif ali were pretty tacky. Can anyone remember the dreadful Aflatoon?

How do you explain Shakti The Power than? Anyhow, his most popular films seem to mostly depict the same things, its too bad that he can never say "no" or "object" to scripts provided by the Johars/Chopras.

Now Johar's next MUSH! has a name!

Just yesterday, this wrote broke the news of Karan Johar's new project, starring SRK and Aishwarya Rai in the lead. Meanwhile, Karan's erstwhile assistant Nikhil Advani's debut film (he turns independent with Yash Johar's next venture) will also star SRK with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Titled KAL HO NA HO, it is being scripted by Karan himself.
