I spoke to this nice guy. He is modest and accepts that limitations of the options he have with his DVD's.He told me that he is not happy with their dvd's even though they are lot better than all other dvd's out there
Because of pirates flooded in the market he is afraid to release the DVD's, even thou he holds the rights. And even he is afraid to spend more money to use film based authorizing, which he used previously for some titles.
But he promised to move forward and use the film mode on their dvd's in the coming future. And some song dvd's from EVP are almost ready to release 1) Viswanath songs 2) Chiranjeevi songs 3) Nagarjuna songs.

Sudhakar is a really good guy. I emailed him about Pushpaka Vimanam last week and he gave me a speedy reply saying that they will try to acquire that film and make a good DVD. I can't say for sure that he will try, but I think he will.

And since the early Hindi DVDs were in film mode, why aren't the recent Telugu releases (such as Santosham) in film mode?

Hehe if the Chiranjeevi Songs DVD has Alluda Majaka, Gharana Mogudu and Kondaveeti Donga Songs, it will save me some money since I want to buy those DVDs just for the songs

I am sure that the Nagarjuna hits will have songs from EVP releases like Nirnayam, Hello Brother, Shiva and Santosham which I already own

Last year I tried to contact Sudhakar a few times. Left messages 2 or 3 times as well as sent him an e-mail. Didn’t succeed in contacting him and then I gave up. What’s the trick to speak to him? If Sudhakar doesn’t want his ph # on the zulm boards, could you please pass it to me through zulm private message.

Thanks.

Rana

Or is it his ego coming in the way....or just his stupidty that he ditched Sai Digital Base for his other lousy authoring companies ?... Cant believe he is the same guy that gave us Abhimaan (Film Mode transfer)... and nope this isnt in any way expensive.. all he needs to do is change a few encoding parameters during the film transfer and then you are all set !

sk,
when i asked him about Sai Digital base and film mode, he talked as if he didn't know the difference and he mentioned that Sai Digital Base is his own work. So, I am really confused with what he told to ganti.

But I felt he wants to improve quality of his DVDs and let's hope he does better and probably get more new titles. I am getting tired of seeing those Coming Soon titles staying in coming Soon.. section forever now.

Kp,
May be he found out the difference between the two after you talked to him. And I think he wants to improve the quality.
One more thing, which I omitted from my first post: He also mentioned some thing about platinum series with better quality.
:p
