DEI needs to be taken over by some company (which has the purchasing power) so that they can give us good DVDs... I am not apprehensive of the fact that DEI is going under, but am apprehensive that DEI will go under and never come back

I really hope this is not true... although it cannot be doubted... it will be a big setback to us quality dvd collectors...

Seems like NEWS have some weight!! DEI did not have their act together lately!! Badi Machli, Choti Machli ko khati hai!! Bae Imani ke Sumandar ka rule hai!? Kiya khayal hai!!

I hope, and wish, DEI would not be DEI that they are today!! They were the only hope! Damn !!

Wish Eros a safe life! If it was possible for me, i would put them to rest (in peace)! Image

Not gonna be cussing at them, i am sure fair amount of viewers do that anyway in a regular basis.

Hope their will be a "DEI" coming up soon....

I saw this coming, considering the dearth of releases from them as of late. This marks the death knell for any hope of decent Indian DVDs...unless Columbia Tristar plans to buy every title.

:(

I wouldn't be surprised to be honest, but it is a sad thing if the news is true. Looks like we're gonna have to live with Eros and YRF transfers of the older movies now :ffs:

Sad news here for all zulmis...(and other quality DVD collectors)

For once Jolly is right... DEI has indeed shut office ( or as Afzal put it... stopped producing any DVDs ).. They wont be in business for quite a while now. So scoop up whatever DEI DVds you have to else those also will become extinct ( at least as a DEI label)

I Just hope some big company buys out the DEI catalogue (maybe some American company)
:plain:

Not that I don't trust your word or anything sknath, but do you have any particular source to your word?
