Which disks you guys are using to show off your system?
I generally pick Mission Bollywood to show off my system to my Indian friends and as far as Hollywood movies are concerned I have several to show off.
For Audio I choose
1) Starwars 1 TPM
2) Saving private Ryan DTS for the first scene.
3) All the Jurassic Park movies
4) Daybreak DD
5) Swordfish for the great explosion

For video I choose
1) Training day
2) The fast and furious (for Audio and video) as it has very sharp images and powerful sound track

For Indian stuff, I use Lagaan, MK, or Fiza.

For Hollywood:
Picture, I use Shrek.
For sound, Fight Club is explosive.

MalFUnXiON,
I agree with you about Shriek. But I haven’t watched the fight Club on dvd as I absolutely hate this movie. I don’t know why?
Sknath,
T2 is my most watched movie ever but I don’t have the UE, which I think may be reference quality.
Another movie in my list is The Rock (Criterion) looks and sounds absolutely gorgeous.

Arsh,
Fifth Element (reg) used to be my reference disk. And Air Force one (reg) has powerful sound track but PQ is not that great. Of course that won’t apply to the Superbits, as most of them are great demo disks. I think the new LOTR disk has a demo quality sound track.

The DTS trailor on the Ultimate Edition of T2 has got to be one of the best demo materials out there.
