What exactly is the story of the Tamil film "Panchathanthiram"? Is the film any good?

...should answer your question. The film was a box office flop, the fourth film to flop for Kamal Hassan! But it is one of his better comedies.

Yeap but I found the this version slightly better. Just as I found Chachi 420 to be more better then its original counterparts the film Mrs. Doubtfire and the O. wilde play The Importance of Being Ernest.
