Liked Rajnikanth was in Hindi films but ever since he started Tamil films, since I dont understand them and reading subtitles takes me away from watching the film, I dont care too much about them. One thing is for sure though Rajnikanth is a good actor so this movie should be really good. Sorry just my two cents ??? I hope the movie does well though :D

Hmmmm, sounds kinda interesting......but from the storyline, I can imagine this movie ending up to be laughably bad if handled the wrong way!

I don't know too much about Tamil cinema, so can't comment on it, but you can imagine this movie being made in Hindi - they'd have a field day with the special effects for the magical powers (think Aur Pyar Ho Gaya), and they would probably enjoy the whole 'superhero' thing as well (think Superman - the Hindi version with Dharmendra in the title role!!!)

Effects in Tamil Cinema is getting better, the recent action film Ezhumalai, which had similar CGI action FX to Jet Li's The one, was much better excuted then the Fx's in Awara Paagal Deewana!

However I think that Telugu cinema is in the lead when it comes to effects in India! I guess its all that mytholgical films they make!

Some Australian FX company is doing the special effects for BABA with EFX (India) so it shouldn't dissapoint.
