EVP is lately releasing lot of telugu DVDs but unfortunately only IndoFilms.com is selling most of them while http://www.movieXpress.com is promising that it will soon add more of EVP titles to their widely advertised site. They are taking preorders for 'Santosham' starring Nagarjuna and Gracy Singh which is a major hit this year.

Telugu DVD market it completely taken over my pirated DVDs and sites like ragalahari.com and southindiandvd.com. So, stay away from those sites even if they sell few originals.

I just hope EVP doesn't go the DEI way. I know they are having hard time competing with insane prices($1.99 on some titles) on pirated DVDs and is counting greatly on 'Santosham' and a few more new releases that should come soon.

Anyone know if IW will stock EVPs new titles?

I also saw at the store a dubbed version of "12B" released by EVP, with English subtitles.

Sknath, have you seen any of those SDFCinc.com titles? If so, how are they compared to EVP (on the high end) and KAD (on the low end)?

He He I will also be buying those two DVDs especially for the songs and also Kondaveeti Donga :). What with Mrugarjau? They should have let it alone and not wasted their efforts on that

SDFC titles are far off from EVP and very similar to the some of the best KAD made. The Black and White version look good on analog TV but little messed up with sharpness on HDTVs. Since they are legal rights holders of those titles we have no options but to buy those great goldies.

Stay away from Azad, Premante Idera, Seethamaalakshmi(one full chapter can't be played on any DVD Player), Gorintaku. I should be getting Choodalanu Undhi in a day or two and I can tell the quality of it.

Bottomline, stay away from any color titles SDFC made so far.

EVP should have released all those Chiranjeevi titles a while back. I also heard he has rights to lot of Vijayabapinedu movies.

Mrugaraju pirate is in almost all stores and moreover it's one of the worst movies of last year. No point in bringing quality DVD of it.
