On Friday, November 1, Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment is releasing Spider-Man on DVD and VHS. The super-cool two-disc Spider-Man DVD set (available in wide and full screen editions) includes never-before-revealed Spider-Man factoids, music videos, the gag reel (that's Hollywood-speak for bloopers), the HBO "Making of" and E! Entertainment specials, and a first look at comic book-to-film comparisons.

Also available November 1st will be a limited-edition Collector's Gift Set featuring the widescreen special edition Spider-Man DVD and loaded with extras including a reprint of Marvel Comics' "Amazing Fantasy" #15 (Spidey's first appearance), an exclusive collectible drawing by former Spider-Man artist John Romita, Sr. and current Spider-Man artist John Romita, Jr., a collectible numbered film cell from the movie, and more.

Time to start counting days off your calendars again.

No worries... The "Official" DiVx also should be out in a few weeks and I think I can skip this dvd then :)
