Will DEI continue to press the titles they've already released or will they stop pressing even those?

Just to be safe, I ordered the DEI versions of Fiza and Sholay from India Weekly and they are on the way to me now. Afzal is also trying to obtain the DEI version of Dil Se for me...I hope it is possible. I just watched Dil Se over the weekend and it has to be the worst Hindi DVD I've seen so far. The print they used was scratched beyond belief! The DEI version has to be better!

As for Sholay, from the screenshots posted here on Zulm, I think I prefer the framing of the B4U version, but I am getting the DEI version for the alternate ending.

After much searching, I finally received the DEI version of HDDCS and amazed at how much better it is! The subtitles are a drastic improvement! Not only are the songs subtitled, but they subtitles are actually in sync with the dialogue. I still don't understand what the point of squishing the picture is, but it still looks miles ahead of the Videosound version.

Is there any other must-have DEI titles that I should be on the lookout for??? I think Bombay might be one.

Jeff

Jeff take the Ayngaran version of Bombay. You will be exposed to 2 more langauges through that DVD.. Telugu & Tamil. But if you want the hindi version then gof or the DEI-EROS version of cos, eyes wide shut :)

Other must have DEI DVDs :-
1.) Amar Akbar Anthony
2.) DON
3.) Golmaal
4.) Chupke Chupke
5.) Deewar (DEI-EROS)
6.) Rangeela ( for the songs of A.R.rehman)
7.) Kaho Na Pyar Hai

You can also check up the collection that I have, by clicking the "indian DVD collection" and you can check the previews/reviews/screenshots for the DVds here on zulm :)

& the DEI version of Sholay has the theatrical ending of Sholay; the EROS-B4U version has the alternate ending !

If I want to make sure I don't get the B4U version of Eros-DEI titles, where should I order from?

Indiancdstore.com. As they are the only one’s I know for sure have DEI/EROS disks. But careful, lot of them have disk problems. So you should check them right away.
