Silver Entertainment have started to release Rakesh Roshan moveis on DVD - the two I have seen at IW are Khudgarz and Khoon Bhari Maang (two of my favs) - anyone seen these, and got any idea about the quality?

Bhaskar let me tell u a story which once Sandish @ DEI told me...

DEI had the rights for all J.OMPrakash films and as J.Om Prakash was the F_I_L of Rakesh Roshan, hence they also had the DVD rights for all rakesh Roshan films. Now DEI has gone under, so what do u think folks..is Silver entertainment DEI in a different form ( I know this is quite a story but who knows :D ) ?

Sandish @ DEI told a lot of 'stories' sometimes matching the calibre of Roald Dahl fairy tales i.e. talking out of his rear end! - to put it politely :where:

DEI do indeed own most of J.Om Prakash productions, but they don't own any filmkraft productions other then Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Since they had close links with Rakesh Roshan they could have easily purchase all the film under his banner but they didn't do so as they already had a backlog of films to do on DVD.

Sunnyaudit, any idea if any new formation will take effect in place of DEI and if we will be able to get Indian DVDs as good or better than what we got from DEI. May be DEI bankruptcy is a local US issue and doesn't affect it's outside of US operations??
