DEVDAS - (Reviewed By Robeel Haq)

Director: Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Music: Ismail Darbar
Lyrics: Nusrat Badr
Producer: Bharat Shah
Starring: Shah Rukh, Madhuri Dixit, Javkie Shroff & Aishwarya Rai

RATING: 7/10

In conclusion, I take you back to my earlier point. Walking into the cinema with enormous expectations is not wise. Devdas is not one of Bollywood's greatest ever movies and nor does it claim to be. It is however an enjoyable movie which should find many fans around the world.

Will you be able to go a decent theater to watch it in DTS or are you hoping it is DTS on DVD? If I go to the Indian theaters, I don't think the sound quality will be DTS only loud.

I have reliable information that this movie will be screened in a theatre here in Ottawa which is equipped with DTS... As for expecting a DTS DVd from EROS..nice try :D cos I dont think the wankas will ever attempt that.. I just hope Focus International can do something abt the DVD

Lucky you that you can go to a DTS theater in Ottawa. Does this theater play other Indian movies as well? Here, there are 2-3 theaters that play only Indian movies and a couple American theaters that play foreign movies. Hopefully, Devdas makes it to the American theaters (not sure if the American theaters are DTS equipped or not).

They are, all good ones, some dual equipped for DD and DTS, but i'll advise, to call theatre before going, which show and which screen and at what time playing in DTS, just a humble way to ensure the best value of entertainment for ur money..kool..cheers!
* note if same film is being showed in multiplex, theatre most of the time they have only one screen and print with DTS, according to my research!! so explore before disappointments..dude? :baaa: ;) :vsneaky:
