The songs of this film have been fairly popular. "Na Tum Bewafa Ho" & "Lo Ek Kali Muskayee" are signature Madan Mohan tunes. However, I had the displeasure of watching parts of the film today. Starring: Ashok Kumar, Nirupa Roy, Joy Mukherji, Mehmood & Meera Joglekar.
1) This film must be the first example of nepotism going wrong in Bollywood. There have been star children to grace the screen before this, but Meera Joglekar's stint must have been the first one to be SO egregiously bad. Nutan, Tanuja, Kapoor brothers, Nanda, Nargis, et al.; are actors who were related to the then bigwigs of the industry, but they were all wonderful; unlike Meera.

2) As someone rightly pointed out in the YouTube comments, the supporting actress in the film (Mallika) looks and acts much better than leading lady Meera. She also has an uncanny resemblance to Mumtaz. I then remembered that Mumtaz has a sister named Mallika (Askari). The Mallika in this film may very well be her.

3) Meera's child version is played by, um no one who has been credited. But, the child looked so familiar. I recognized him at once. It was Master Bobby, best known as Nandu from Amar Prem.
