Ugh! What a travesty!! This is what I hate about Indian DVD authors. Why the heck can't they encode DVDs to PAL if a PAL telecine??

I hope they fix this problem soon and we get to see 'pure Progressive' DVDs

That is the reason I try to avoid DVDs by Shemaroo and others.

Can someone upload screenshots from the Shemaroo, or any other version that depicts watchable audio/video reproduction?

Eagle's Naya Daur (Color) was Direct Film to NTSC progressive. So I am hoping for the black and white version to be the same (I shouldn't be proven wrong :-| )

BTW, Eros had done the B.R. Chopra films on DVD and the results better than Shemaroo. Is the Eros version better than Shemaroo, by any chance?
Thanks
