Looks like DHADKAN has no thread of its own.
Moserbaer (Moser Baer) has released this for Rs. 39.00 in India.
I skimmed through the dvd - the opening credits say that the movie had DTS as well as DD5.1 options!

Any idea who released this in India earlier? Wasn't it some Delhi-based company?

And who's released it overseas?

Yes.

I don't remember despite being Prog, true 5.1 (as far as I remember) and anamorphic, if there was another version better than EROS one ??
zoran009 do you remember ??

Eros was indeed, prog, anamorphic 5.1. I believe there should be review or SS.But again was not DEI caliber transfer.

Quote:
taring: Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Shilpa Shetty, Mahima, Anupam Kher, Anjana Mumtaz, Kiran Kumar and Sharmila Tagore
Director: Dharmesh Darshan
Producer: Ratan Jain
Music: Nadeem Shravan
Running time: 161 minutes
Format: NTSC
Video: 2.45:1 anamorphic widescreen
Sound: Hindi Dolby Digital 5.1
Subtitles: English (including songs)
Year: 2000 (cinema), 2000 (DVD)
DVD: Single sided dual layered
DVD Release by: Eros International/B4U

Preliminary impression
Good
- decent detail, but could have been much better
- full aspect ratio maintained and anamorphic enhanced
- extras: original theatrical trailer, making of feature (promo footage)
Bad
- soft video lacking 'DVD quality' sharpness
- muted colours giving the video a dull look
- poor shadow detail, dark scenes show dismal detail
- not the cleanest source used, speckles and other blemishes noticeable (disappointing for new film to DVD conversation)
- bad pseudo 5.1 sound mix, mono to 6 channels mix

and again ali should be able to enlarge those SS.

Some of eros UK editions were better than US, e.g Jodi no 1, HMBPK , DKK. I do not know abt Dhadkan, if UK version was same same or different? lol
