... how Yashraj tries (and fails) to deceive customers.
Generally All yashraj DVDs have the logo of the DVD author. This DVD did not have the label of that wretched SUPER DIGITAL and along with the info given by Lakeshore
http://www.zulm.net/cgi-bin....2;t=467
I was tempted to buy this dvd and I did only to find out the following truths :-

1.) It is indeed authored by SUPER DIGITAL ( when u insert it in ur DVD rom you get a label like this "jis_desh_SUPERDVD"... SO FOLKS BEWARE... Yashraj has DUPED YOU by not labelling the DVD properly

2.) The source is " a vintage source for the sake of nostalgia" aka an admission by Yashraj that " we have got this dvd authored by an a$$hole..SUPER DIGITAL.... Note :- This was the same info provided behind the Awara DVd also but compare the screenshots of the Shemaroo version and you will see what DVD authoring is really all about

3.) I agree with most of the cons presented by Lakeshore
http://www.zulm.net/cgi-bin....2;t=467

BUt I would like to strike out all the Pros presented by him..

So in my judgement... a Classic runied by the Mega Muppets @ SuperDigital and in the process they can really DUPE you !!!

AVOID THIS DVD !!! Like Plague

This is just an excuse to make a bad dvd, I remember HVM also pulling a similar stunt selling cds recorded from scratchy vinyl records saying they do it for the sake of nostalgia! Ironically Yash Raj also employs HMV for all their film music. IMHO HMV is the equivalent of Eros & Super Digital in terms of quality.

I highly doubt that these prints looked like someone lit a fire under them when they originally were released :baaa:

On American DVDs of older films, we get "digitally restored and remastered." On Indian DVDs, we get "we don't care about quality and used the first print we found in a damp basement and dumped it onto DVD as soon as possible. And added compression artifacts, so you know its a DVD!"
