2-3 weeks back I saw a modern music clip on TV. Today I saw another clip indicating it to be anamorphic release from DEI. When DEI had announced this DVD (about 8 months back), reaction was; Who wants this kind of DVD. Well, the movie may be religeous, but the song was, all modern, multi ethnic/ religeous. Print was excellent (on TV).

I am buying this DVD.

Sirdi Ke Sai Baba.

Got my Sirdi Sai Baba DEI DVD.

It is the new movie starring Sudhir Dalve and lots of guest stars.

Great DVD. Both clips, I mentioned above, were from this movie. Excellent amamorphic progressive print. I am no disciple of Sai Baba, but liked the movie. There are tons of big stars (Suresh Oberoi, Dharamender, Shammi Kapoor, -------) in guest appearances. Great devotional DVD for seniors, which youngsters too will like.

Another plus for this DVD: One of the few DEI anamorphic DVDs which is either not vertical squashed, or not noticeable (one circle appears slightly stretched vertically, the other horizontally, implying optical or monitor distortions).

Rana,
Did you ever watch any Sai Baba movie before? If yes, how is it compared to the other movies story wise?

This is the first Sai Baba movie I have seen (scanned only so far). Over the weekend, I will watch it fully and let you know what I think of the movie. DVD quality is great though.

Watched this movie over the weekend. I liked it, though I had bought it for my parents. Kids in the family liked it too. It had a melodious lullaby song. The first song (modern music; Sabka maalik ek hai---) in the film was the one which had caught my attention a few weeks back, because of which I bought this DVD. I think, Audio and Video in this DVD is one of DEI's best.
