I was thinking the same myself. However, I also think that most of the active users here actually have a life beyond this forum. Life is moving along.

What are your suggestions to make it interesting again?

For starters: look at whats happening and I am talking about indian movies. Movie tickets used to be
1.00 then 2.00 and moved up to 5.00 and now 10.00 .
The pirated dvds used to be just 2.00 but the sellers are booted out from most of the markets.
Eros used to be the bashing boy from zulmies whereas DEI/BEI was more like their diety even though
their dvds freezes,
My point is there was never a balance and woe betide those who dare to contradict those zulmies
who wrote against DEI/BEI..

Hmm... I'm a wee bit confused, with where this thread is headed.

I believe a technolgy called Torrents rose to the masses which brought Zulm to be boring.

Lets face it Hollywood or Bollywood people are torrenting movies when they want it. Now the majority of people will be downloading crap PQ torrents (I know this for a fact) but the few of us with inside info know which torrents and by which team to get them from to get the actual DVD5/9 and BD print in MKV.

... and then when Netflix keeps up with Bollywood Movies people in USA will go to Netflix and stream the movie Legally in super HD!

I am crazed about movies and even a rare movie to get on my hands then I would buy the DVD when its not available on torrents. Regardless of the quality of the DVD, but yes if various compaines have released that DVD I would balance between the better quality one

Unfortunately there isn't much we can do about the price of movie tickets!

Agreed that Eros used to be heavily criticised by Zulmis, but at that point, most of their DVDs, particularly after the DEI split, were pretty awful. Things have improved, but to be honest, considering the size of the company, Eros DVDs, in my opinion, have never been up to the mark. At that point in time, DEI DVDs did have the picture/audio quality (which is why torrent sites have threads dedicated to DEI DVD releases). The freezing is a problem that as far as I can recall has been discussed (see viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9788&hilit=dei+freezing).

As for the issue of torrents, yes, a lot of people do download films. I do agree with Sengh though, when I like a film, I tend to buy the DVDs/BDs. Unfortunately for newer films, I can't take screenshots as I don't have a BD drive.

The long and short of it is I don't know if the site isn't active because of the way films are viewed (after all, there is a general Movies board) - I just think the few regular posters are busy with life, and posting in other places, like the Bluray.com forums.
