Just wondering - has a decent version of this come out yet? I checked IndiaWeekly and they are selling the Apollo re-branded version for 39 cents. Is it worth 39 cents?!

I got the soundtrack recently (a really scratched up LP - but still sounds better than the CD!) The songs are great - haven't seen the movie ever but would like to find a complete version of the movie with the Jis Din Se Maine Tumko Dekha Hai song intact. Actually - I was wondering - was that song in the film in it's original release?

SPOILER
Amitabh plays villain in this movie -- and in Johnny Gaddaar, the central character hatches his plan after watching this movie ;-)

i have this on an old esquire release vhs and that does not have the song either, i don't think that they put it in. Am suprised as the song was complied by the great Madan Mohan who gave Hanste Zakhm, Heer Ranjha and Laila Majnu to name a few.

Interesting - just noticed that there is a song on the screen shot of the songs menu called 'O Jameela'. This song isn't on the LP (or CD as far as I can remember.)

So it looks like they decided to record a new song for the movie and ditched the best song on the soundtrack album in favour of the O Jameela song. Anyone seen or heard this song at all?

I forgot all about this thread! I actually got hold of the DVD from IndiaWeekly for 39cents. It was a good movie. The song 'Jis Din Se Maine ...' was not in the movie - but the entire opening of the song is there until the singing starts. There is an obvious abrupt cut when the singing is just about to start to the next scene. So I think that the song was filmed and was in the movie - but is cut from the VHS / DVD versions. Would be interesting to see if Nurpur released the full version of the movie.
