Anyone else find it weird that no other sites are reviewing the movie despite being released already? RadioSargam, IndiaFM, Rediff.com usually have reviews the day before, if not the day of the movies release. Whats up wit dat!? :gob:

There's a (somewhat incoherent but) far more opinionated review at Planet Bollywood. Three stars out of five would be 66%, right? So I guess the 6.0 rating that it receives at PB is on par.

Hey! I did some math! [retiring in amazement...]

PB bottom line! This time it is not BUDHOO!!

Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam isn’t anywhere near the masterpiece level, and frankly I don’t think it had such aspirations being in the making for such a long time, but it’s better than the recent products Bollywood has been churning out recently (AMALL, Ab Ke Baras). Low expectations will work in the film’s favour and who knows, it may be a winner at the box office!

:baaa: ??? :ffs:

Seems like film will take a nose dive after initial collections?
so I think we are looking for an early DVD by EROS?
May be another COLLECTOR EDITION so called to cut our pockets, like NTJNH?? What a shame? BHAIYO DEVDAS KI KHER MANAO??? :baaa:  :vangry: :stupid: :bangbang: :ffs:

Just saw HTHS on the big screen and man did it suck, I left half way through and snuk into another screen to see Dog Soldiers which was awesome!!

The half I saw was weak, and had too many holes in the plot. I actually felt its Tamil counterpart (which was also horrible) was a lot more better! The sscreenplay is too slow, and performances from the cast range from poor to downright hammy. Even Madhuri (talented as she is) lacks screen presences. I only hope Hum Kisse Se Kum Nahin is a lot better as I am off to see that in a few days time.

Final verdict = Save your money for the next SRK and Maduhri Flick....Devdas

Even a friend of mine just saw the film in the theaters, he also said it stank!! He said the only watchable thing about it was a decent performance by SRK. Anyhow, I was planning to go see it on the big screen, but will most likely make a good DVD rental. However, a few of the reviews that I have read have given it a positive review.

Actually, the story line wasn't too bad. I was actually interested (and didn't even pause the DVD for intermission). SRK's jealousy developed in a (shockingly) realistic fashion (even if Madhuri was unrealistically oblivious). I would have given in a 7, 7.5 on a scale of 10. And in comparison to dreck like Kranti, Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai etc. it shone.

You're right, though, to say that Madhuri/Salman/SRK had no star presence. Mid to dim wattage, all of them. And the song picturizations, save HTHS, were terrible.

I realized, though, that my opinions differed from the vast majority of this forum the day I rushed out excitedly to the theater to see Company, which all of you hailed as better than Satya (and one person even called the next Sholay) and instead found a film I thought was stylish but barely coherent and not at all emotionally or intellectually engaging. :keh:

ive not seen the movie myself... mainly because i cannot be arsed with such a movie that looks more like OVerdated ZeeTv drama rather than a bollywood flick!! Unfortunately the wife is gonna drag me along to watch this flick on tuesday and it`ll give me a great chance for me to get some quality sleep in the auditorium.. im kinda amazed with the response this movie has given to the general public.. firstly the guys who have seen this movie say it stinks like a rotten pig, but the females who have seen it luv it and want to revolve there luv lives around a movie.. how sad.. i honestly havent got the stamina to sit there and watch SRK whine about how salman khan is trying to bone his wife..... id rather watch telletubbies... !! anyway stop whining faddy.. me is watching England Vs Sweden now!! :D
