 Post subject: VCD and subtitles

Do vcd's have subtitles.
I browsed on line and saw Tulsidas and it had english subtitles, was on 2 discs so I assumed it was a vcd.
It was also a friends video.

VCDs or for that matter even VHS can have sub-titles, but they would have to be burnt-in. You cannot turn on/off the subtitles on a VCD.

That is OK with me as I always need the subtitles.
The VCD coves never states that subtitles are present and I would like to know if
Shabnam (Ultra DVD) with Dilip Kumar and Kamini Kaushal has subtitles.
