Just been watching BBC2s Newsnight.. they are discussing the increase of violence wihtin the Tamil communities in London.. whats the crack.. they were showing how people are searched before letting them watch Tamil movies at the cinema.. Whats the crack sunny...!!

Dunno whats the crack as I have yet to understand the Tamil community/news/events since I am neither Tamil nor do I have any relationship with any members of the community, with exception to the folks at Ayngaran. But I assume its no worse then other UK Asian gangs. I did read in one article in my local paper that some young UK-Tamil teens are in allience with Yardie gangs in London on the weapons & drugs trade. Guess all that underground gangstar hip-hop/rap and Tamil films about rowdies are influencing them

This is very interesting, because here in Toronto, Canada. Perhaps the biggest group of gangs are amongst the Tamil teenagers, some of them which I've heard like to call them selves as the "Tamil Tigers" as reference to the military "Tamil Tigers" of Sri Lanka. These guys are soo bad, there have been reports of Tamil gangs causing a treat to certain individual police members and there families.

sorry sunny.. i just thought u were tamil because of ure fetish for tamil movies!! but regarding the situation it was also mentioned how in Canada there were many tamil teenagers arrested for drug traffiking, protection rackets and armed violence.... and the only way to combat the problem was to send the culprits back to Sri lanka.. bit harsh i thought!! The report also mentioned how Tamils had previously been known as educated, well respected law abiding citizens, but the recent incidents with murders at weddings... the police are taking a closer look into the problem!! its quite alarming to know these tamils are actually connected to the Jamaican Yardies.... Just the other days there was a Yardies related shooting a couple of streets away...!! scary shit..
