i am totly agree with all of you Y R F is ripping of all the consumers ,
i have few of DVD:S of yrf some of the dvd.s are very poor qualty
i send them e mail few time but they hardly reply.
so iam avoiding to buy yrf dvd,s
i like DEI dvd,s their quality is better tha yrf & erose

Folks at YRK have totally disrespected visions of Raj Kapoor,
Guru Dutt & Bimal Roy.

Raj kapoor's labor of love Sangam was not meant to be viewed with such out of sync presentation as delivered by YRF. Bimal Roy's Madhumati was presented in a 3rd rate transfer, Treatment of Guru Dutt's Chaduvin ka chand & Baharen Phir bhi aayengi is almost vile. These classics were not meant to be treated like trash for this crime Yash and the folks at YRF should be forced to watch these DVD's over and over until they realize what they have done.

Yash being a film maker himself has no excuse for treating the
vision of such great film makers in such a manner but it seems he has no respect for his own creations,see treatments of Dhool ka phool (one of the worst audio tracks) & Waqt among others.

YRF is not interested in preserving art but to make a quick so don't be fooled by those glossy covers & DON'T BUY YRF DVD'S.

I agree with Lakeshore...but there are certain recent titles which you can buy .... all you have to do is make sure that the DVD has been authored by PRASAD DIGITAL VIDEO and not SUPERDIGITAL ( the shit arse company)
