I am looking for english subtitles to fit the rapid eye movies source( PAL 25fps, theatrical version). The subtitles I have on that source are really just german , and I need the english subtitles for the same.

Is there anyone which access to multiple prints who can source the subtitles for me to work with this video source.

^ I have the director's cut NTSC DVD9 but REM print was the theatrical version. If nobody responds, I can send you the one I have. But it will be a pain to convert and cut to make it in sync.

The shots are from the Eros DVD which he has applied noise reduction and a brightness filter on.

Funny:

Sholay got Filmfare award for just one category: Best Film Editing. Lost out on all the rest.

Implies that Sholay was not the best film in that year.

But, Filmfare awarded it as the best film in the last 50 Yrs in 50th Filmfare awards ceremony. :lol: :lol:

Gosh, it's been ages since I've been here :)

Thank you to NewDeep for thinking of me.

It's true, I don't know which screnshots I had posted...in the past, they were just sourced to this site from whatever links were posted here. I guess, in this case it wasn't done.

I do have Sholay DVD9...long version where the bad guy is killed :) I remember it was interlaced...and I encoded it myself to 24fps (not 23.976/25) and it was perfect.

Perhaps, I should have a go at it again ;)

Is there a bluray coming out for this at all?!!! or have I been blind all this time?

PS...to tell you the truth, most of the BDs that have come out from Bollywood have been so-so at best...YRF just kills me with their sh*tty releases :( It's just sad...therefore, I haven't been active HERE...and of course, other places.

Ahhh it would be such a dream to work some company where I could make them their BD video and do it properly... <sigh>
