Badshah is out on December 7th.

There's a comparison between the UTV and REM RDB DVDs here.

Thanks Stephen, I favor UTV release here!

Btw! May I request if you can follow up on other titles in this thread?

Color is better on the REM (no annoying blue tint), but sharpness and contrast are better on UTV.

Sure thing. 8)

Josh by EuroVideo is an NTSC-to-PAL conversion of the Eros release. One to avoid.

Dil Ka Rishta by REM is proper PAL with an OAR anamorphic transfer. Picture quality is similar to the REM Chalte Chalte DVD.

Kyun Ho Gaya Na by REM is proper PAL with an OAR anamorphic transfer. Picture quality is not as good here, with rather murky colours.

Khakee by EuroVideo is proper PAL with an OAR anamorphic transfer and decent colour rendition (I believe it's the same PAL master Eros used for their DVD), but only mono audio.

The shots have just been captured wrong - the disc is 16:9.

I don't have any of these DVDs I'm afraid. All the info I know is from reviews and other message board posts. These European DVDs are very expensive to import.

Even within the EU?

BTW, thanks for updating us on these European DVDs.

No problem. But yep, the Amazon stores do charge a lot to ship them to Britain and the exchange rate of the Euro to the pound isn't as favourable as the US dollar to the pound.
