This makes an interesting reading - an insight from one of the leading DVD Producers, Jeffrey Schwarz (This Is Spinal Tap, Hollow Man, Basic Instinct, Silence Of The Lambs and upcoming Men in Black 2, Jason X, Starship Troopers, Resident Evil, John Q);

This one answer is a knockout for Eros, YRF, DEI and co;

"…each of these things has to be done right. Doing these Special Editions could be the only opportunity to get everyone on board for a retrospective look at an older film. So there’s a sense of responsibility to these films, their creators, and wanting to represent their legacy for future generations."

...at which point Indian DVD guys sit up say ‘yeh sala DVD Producers keha hota hai?’ :rolleyes:
