I have an excellent VHS by esquire. Much better PQ. Considering the EROS PQ, I guess I can rent my VHS for over $250, for makind a DVD out of it. :D

I picked up the Seeta Aur Geeta DVD from UK label Tiger Entertainment recently and thought I'd resurrect this thread to post some comparison screenshots. The disc is by no means perfect, but far superior to the Eros/Spark versions. Interlaced with good colour and contrast rendition and with subtitles for songs - along the lines of an average Shemaroo transfer. Sound is mono spread over two channels.

Did some sort of chemical leak occur, causing green clouds?

BTW, was there a DEI DVD of this film?

Stephen, TIGER definately is better than EROS and SPARK on this title. Where from in UK did you buy this brand?
