Songs on this album. Another A R Rehman music.

1. Mera Rang De Basanti
2. Pagdi Sambhal Jatta
3. Mahive Mahive
4. Sarfaroshi Ki Tamanna
5. Dil Se Niklegi
6. Shora So Panchaniye
7. Desh Mere Desh
8. Sarfaroshi Ki Tamanna
9. Kasam Tumko Watan
10. Jogiya Jogiya

"Mahive Mahive" really has a melodius tune by Alka Yagnik & Udit Narayan. Other likeable songs are "sarfaroshi ki tamanna" by Sonu Nigam, and "kasam tumko watan" by Sukhwinder Singh.

My picks on first listen!!
Mahive!!
Jogiya!!

I do hear a kinda influence of a simillar score by Rehman..1947 Earth..here ,one of my favourite score!! of Rehman!!

The rest situational and will grow gradualy(usual game with Rehman score), but good!! with lot of emotions and energy!!
Rande!!
Sarfaroshi!!
Pagdi sanbhal oye!! :baaa:

btw!! once Chale Chalo from Lagaan grew on me, I was hooked!!

I think only LET DOWN IMHO!! with this album is LESS THAN CLASSIC, kinda MEDIOCRE lyrics by SAMEER?? The S**
What it needed was a INSPIRATIONAL/CLASSY/QUALITY poet to compliment Rehman like Gulzar(classy and Punjabi...Maachis/ dil se etc)
Javaid Akhtar(INSPIRATIONAL /classy..1947 earth)
or the least?
Late Anand Bakshi(punjabi with lot of emotion and potential for the situation, ...Taal/GADAR)
That would make this album..A REAL LEGEND!!
My VERDICT!! VERY GOOD!! but not LEGEND!!
