Palito needs to PROVIDE SOLID PROOF of DTS audio on the AYN...cuz people here are saying it doesn't have it...

it is AP international, indian version, people overseas have Ayangran UK/US version. Ask him to upload a sample with dts. Haath kangan ko aarsi kaya!

so it IS api that has DTS, and NOT ayn!!! this is what i wanted to figure out!

thanks for the REM shots. is it 16:9 or 4:3? looks like issue with screen capture.

also, this might be the best Hindi DVD of this.

there are releases by Eros India as well as MoserBaer too. Eros India has fab 5.1 if I remember correctly. (was there ever any shemaroo or sony-bmg dvd?)

The audio on the REM DVD is atrocious.

Quite irritating that the only anamorphic DVD has the possibility of great audio with a DTS track, but only dubbed in Tamil.

The DEI DVD has an excellent DD5.1 audio track. Truly showcases the fabulous soundtrack by A.R. Rehman. Now if only it had the proper aspect ratio and were enhanced for 16:9 TVs. I'd be willing to pay good money for a blu-ray of Dil-Se with a lossless DTS-HD MA 5.1 track.

I totally agree, Sanjay! A lot of flicks from the nineties, that had marvelous sound treats, are definitely worth the HD treatment. Alas! That's a distant dream. :(
