The shots from the DVD-R look ok so the original DVD by Eros the shots should look good. I'll have to wait for my rental DVD to arrive to confirm.

Can someone please give me some info about the DVD please. How are the colors, picture quality, sound etc. And for the subtitles, are they on the picture or underneath in the black section. Overall is it a good DVD? I liked the movie and wanted to get some info before buying it.

when i downloaded the brg rip of the dvd i noticed that when i played it on the surround sound only the music came no dialogs, but when i changed the setting from doby digital 6.1 to something called direct 5ch and then you can hear the dialogs is this the same problem with the original disc?

Being your copy of the movie is a rip and bootleg the audio problem is probably only with that RIP. The person who ripped the DVD probably didn't rip all the audo formats from the original DVD do to space being an issue on a DVD-R (4.7GB). They probably had to compress the original DVD alot to fit in on a DVD-R media.

I'm sure if the original DVD by Eros had an audio problem it would have been posted weeks back on Zulm and other websites.

The original also has audio problems. They claim to be 5.1 but its encryptd wrong. The sound comes from all of my 5 speakers...this is the original eros dvd crap.
