I decided on getting some of my older DVDs out of my collection. I got to say some really impressed me and some really pissed me off!!

Sarfarosh - Released by DEI
Pretty shit DVD seeming its by DEI.. the image is well blurry (EXCELLENT TECHNICAL TERMS INDEED :D) and the sound is proper crap too.. no life to it indeed.... was their another version of ths disc out there

Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya - Released by Video Sound
Quite a good disc really... the sound is very good and dynamic and bassy... the image aint too spectacular but is a great disc compared to the Video Sound dics today...

Kohraam - Released Video Sound
An excellent all rounder disc.. the sound is very good and dynamic and the video is pin sharp... Only if it was Anarmophic...

Chal Mere Bhai - Released by Eros B4U
WHAT A CRAP DISC... oh shit.. i just realised who released it!!

Does anyone else have any diamonds/pile of shits in their collection!!

2 Things affect my opinion about this DVD..

1.) It's Audio isn't good at all...

2.) It has GOVINDA in it!!! :ffs:

Govinda's movies are all the same...he should win an award for the goofiest face in the world. :where:

First of all Govinda shouldnt be making movies, its bad enough you have to see his ugly mug on a cover of a DVD, but to have to sit through 3 hours of his moronic and pointless acting is too much. His face should be banned from being in front of a lens, including home cameras. Directors who sign this fool for their films deserve their fate, flop after flop. Honestly, your writing a script, and your thinking, I want this film to be good, I want audiences to come to the cinemas, and come out feeling entertained, and then to sign Govinda for that same movie, there is something seriously wrong. Friday after Friday his movies come out, and to what? Empty cinema halls? Why? Govinda Why? The audience doesnt deserve such pain. And if your listening Govinda, how do you wake up in the morning, knowing that the film you finished the day before, is just going to make everyone lose money and the audience despise you even more!!!! :vangry:

Yup, Me and Govinda go way back, when I was unfortunate enough to watch Coolie no.1, and for some reason a friend of mine bought it, and thought it was actually good?!?!? :gob:

Govinda, if you are listening, again, since you probably are, its not like your sharpening your acting skills or anything  , I want those 3 hours of my life you stole. :vangry:

The new Mother India by DEI is anything but VHS quality.
The print has it problems but the transfer is the usual
DEI quality which is very good for Indian DVDs.

I went back and saw Mother India DVD. I agree its not VHS. Video lacks sharperness and Its Hue (Color) changes throughout the movie. Sometime scences are Red, green etc. It could be print problems.
