Yep I’ve been at the capture again :p Sunny Deol’s Shaheed 1931 starring Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Amrita Singh – releasing same date as The Legend of Bhagat Singh (Ajay Devgan), 21th June (according to IndiaFM)

i agree with you guys.... also somehow(and i really do not like bobby deol) bobby deol looks more convincing as bhagat singh than ajay devgan.. i am curious to see this one...

DO you think they might change the ending - have Sunny Deol pulling out a lamp post and battering everyone with it :alien:

In retrospect, and as per rumours doing the rounds, if this version has indeed been ghost directed by Sunny then there is a serious possibility it will be better than the Santoshi treatment.

Inspite of DILLAGI being old old wine, Sunny did manage to infuse life into its treatment.

Here's my 2 cent prediction. The Sunny version WILL do better than the Santoshi version because Bobby Deol will probably be more convincing than Devgan as Bhagat Singh. BTW did anybody notice how bad Devgan's beard looks in the promos. Gosh, we used better whiskers in college theatricals! Whatever the hell's wrong with Santoshi? Is he so hard up for money following LAJJA. In any case he is not the producer...so what gives..

Anyway let the best film win.....and oh BTW I also caught the promos of the 3rd Bhagat Singh movie made by some nondescript filmmaker......No impressions formed since it was a fleeting appearance....will keep a lookout and report it....or maybe Ali can capture that promo as well?
