is a utv version buddy
Released in the Middle East! Exact same transfer as T-series. But it's R0 while T is R5. BTW, UTV replication is MCH better than T-series --
quite a few of the recent T-series discs are known to freeze and skip and sometimes not load!FarooqBhai wrote:
Strange, no matter how hard I've searched from all online sites that are selling the movie; I've only found the T-Series discs, which are playable only on my computer and our Int'l DVD player...I'd love to even see a COVER of the uTv version much less the disc or any site that is selling it. As it stands, I'll wait for the REM version...
the cover, packaging, goodies inside, etc. are all same on the UTV and T-series dvds -- the only difference being UTV and T-series logos / addresses on the covers. Here's a review of the UTV version --
The cover is designed as if a thick school book containing Ishaan's flip book, exclusive prints of Ishaan's final painting, Nikumbh sir's final painting, and a pencil with octopus dancing merrily, besides the DVDs of the film and its special features. Released by UTV Home Entertainment, Taare Zameen Par DVD is a connoisseur's delight.
The UTV version came a day before the T-series version hit the market -- the latter is what was released in India.
Now UTV are also releasing TZP in Taiwan --
UTV Motion Pictures has signed a distribution deal for release of ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ and ‘Taare Zameen Par’ in Taiwan across platforms. The films will be seen on Taiwan Terrestrial Television and Home Video including DVD and VCD with Mandarin sub-titles. The threatrical release will be in original language with standard Mandarin sub-titles.
