Allright i agree ..didnt take a look at that report by Taran Adarsh ... as for where I am coming from..I am coming from the same place as you are

Let me get this straight. You quoted a source to defend your argument, without even looking at the source!??!? <~~~Perfect Example Of What Some Do (Spreading their bias views as fact) :bangbang:

We are not coming from the same place, you put down a movie you didnt see and judged it without seeing it, me on the other hand, I watch movies, then form an opinion. Big difference m/f.

This is exactly what I have been saying from page one of this thread.... ???

From filmibuff

"Perhaps the greatest mistake Hrithik Roshan has made is in insisting on playing himself in every film, an attribute that he seems to have borrowed from Salman Khan"

I think that is becoming more true. Out of 8 films so far, he's only played 2 roles - a loverboy and a terrorist. Well, he's done better than Salman Khan who has played the same role in all his films - an Idiot.

MDK DECLARED SUPER HIT AMONGST BRITISH!
The Yash Raj blockbuster breaks the half million mark!

Although Mujhse Dosti Karoge was expected to perform well in the UK charts, nobody predicted it would break the five hundred thousand mark at the British box office.

However, in its third week in the charts, the Yash Raj release has collected an excellent 611,614 pounds in total, bringing it to super hit status. It is currently number 14 in the UK charts.

This also means Mujhse Dosti Karoge is in the top ten most success Bollywood movies in the UK ever, which is obviously great news for everyone involved in the film, including stars Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee.

FINALLY, A HIT

The month belonged to Devdas. .The film which had created many waves before its release didn't fail to arrest the nation's attention and raise it's expectations. No other film, in recent times, has generated this kind of hype. The curiosity value reached new heights.
Everyone wanted to know the fate of the film. Now film-makers are relieved to know that not just Devdas but even Humraaz has worked in pulling in the audience once again. The future does look brighter.
Humraaz
Semi hit
Director
Abbas-Mustan
Cast
Bobby Deol, Akshaye Khanna, Amisha Patel

What's it about?
Love, lust and conspiracy to murder
Strengths
Different storyline; all the lead roles are negative

Weaknesses
Over-drawn climax

Trade Facts
The film was sold at the ratio of Rs 2 crores per territory. Overall, Humraaz is a hit in Mumbai, the South and
overseas. In other territories, it proved to be above average. Music played an important role in the film's success. Abbas-
Mustan score again.

Devdas
Hit
Director
Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Cast
Madhuri Dixit, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai
What's it about?
Sarat Chandra Chatterjee's classic love story

Strengths
Magnificent presentation

Weaknesses
Slow pace

Trade Facts
The film was sold at the ratio of Rs 3.5 crores plus print and publicity (approximately between Rs 4 and 4.25 crores).
Overseas, it is expected to rake in more than Rs 15 crores, with a record 300 prints released. Because of the hype and the increased ticket rates, Mumbai is expected to do an approximate business of over Rs 5.5 crores. In other territories, the collections are not as high as Mumbai and overseas. But it's not a loser either. The distributors will earn their commission.

Sharaarat
Flop
Director
Gurudev Bhalla

Cast
Abhishek Bachchan, Hrishitaa Bhatt

What's it about?
A spoilt youngster's experiences at an old age home

Strengths
A strong storyline
Weaknesses
Bad direction

Trade Facts
The film lay in the cans for a year since it had no buyers. Finally, the producer decided to release it himself. The film is a loser all over.
Om Jai Jagadish
Flop

Director
Anupam Kher

Cast
Waheeda Rahman, Anil Kapoor, Urmila Matondkar, Mahima Chaudhary, Fardeen Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Tara Sharma

What's it about?
A family drama, partly adapted from the Rajesh Khanna-Mumtaz Do Raaste

Strengths
Anil Kapoor's performance

Weaknesses
Bad direction
Trade Facts
Producer Vashu Bhagnani released the film himself and it has done just about average business in Mumbai. Elsewhere, the
film is a loser. Clearly, Anupam Kher's foray into direction has not turned out to be as exciting as his acting debut in Saaransh.

Yeh Hai Jalwa
Flop
Director
David Dhawan

Cast
Rishi Kapoor, Salman Khan, Amisha Patel

What's it about?
A comedy inspired by Trishul!

Strengths
Rishi Kapoor
Weaknesses
Salman Khan, who tries to do a Govinda but fails

Trade Facts
The film was initially slated to be sold for Rs 2.25 crores. Since it was delayed, however, the producer got only Rs
1.45 crores when ti was fianlly released. Despite being sold at such a low price for a Salman Khan film, the film didn't even get
a decent opening.
ETC,ETC
Also released: The dubbed-in-English Bichchu Raja (Scorpion King). Surprisingly, this film didn't do well in
English but did very well in the dubbed version. The reverse was true of Football Shootball Haye Rabba (Bend It Like Beckham). This football film did very good business in English but the Hindi version was a flop. The C-grade dubbed Naag Prem had no takers. Then there was Pyaasi Tasveer and Pyaasi Aankhen, dubbed from the original Tamil. And there were Z-grade Hindi films like The Great Kaamdev, Border Kashmir, Nath and Chandni Bani Chudail.
