I wish there were subtitles for the special features, especially deleted scenes. Can someone be kind enough to provide a translation? ???
I've done my best, but it was hard for me to translate the first deleted scene. Here are the 2nd and 3rd scenes. The dashes represent something I wasn't able to translate, not cursing or anything.
2nd:
Swati: Anbu, it's been a long time since I've had good wedding food. Why don't you get married?
Anbu: I should get married so you can eat wedding food? Why are you asking me? Arul and Ila are here, and Ila's talking to a girl. Whenever he gets a phone call [he gets nervous (or something to that effect, I'm not sure)]
Ila: Yea, I'm talking to her. It would be great if all girls were like our Swati. But I think the girl will only marry a white guy, which is why I'm trying to stay out of the sun for a while.
Swati: I know about them. At least they have an idea about getting married. You're [---------]
Anbu- Relax. Why all this talk? One thing. Srikanth wouldn't have told you. The department tells us to leave our wedding rings at home because someone who wants to do something wrong will know you have a wife. You're life, your thoughts of your home, they say to leave them at home. But I think differently. [something I couldn't translate]. I don't want the concept of a happy family back at home. [-------] I like being alone, Swati. If you all die, I won't regret being alone. I'm happy alone.
Swati: This talk won't do. Listen to me. Nice guys get nice girls. I don't like to say this, but you are a nice guy. You'll get a nice girl. You must. Someone will come, watch. This is my last drink, I don't want any more.
Arul (I think) It's better if he doesn't get married. You made the right decision. Don't change.
3rd
Anbu narration: I felt like seeing her again. After many days I went to the hospital.
Anbu (to someone at the hospital): You checked the bills, there's no problem? [-----]
dissolve to Anbu walking
Anbu (answering cell): Hello?
Maya: Sir, this is Maya speaking.
Anbu: Are you doing okay?
Maya: I'm fine, can we talk?
Anbu: Sure, speak.
Maya: I wanted to ask why you didn't come to see me. It's been 3 weeks since I came out of the hospital. You didn't visit me. Not even a phone call.
Anbu: I didn't want to disturb you. You said "Thanks for everything" when you got into the car. It sounded like you wanted to be left alone.
Maya: What? I didn't say anything like that. I was a little angry at you because you didn't visit me. [----].
Many of the publicity plates praise various members of the crew. Gautam, Harris Jayaraj, Peter Hayne (fights), Anthony (editor), Parthiban (art direction IIRC), etc. One features Rajinikanth praising the film and a few others include mentions of Surya's acting. Other plates mention the grosses of the film and one or two celebrate the 50 days run.

While recording the Audio Commentary he goes on about the Hindi verison coming soon from Feroz Khan and talks a bit about Bollywood films and the forthcoming police drama Kaakee (Big B). However this was edited out as he speaks about this way after the credits and we had no time.
The commentary on Fast Times at Ridgemont High goes on for a few minutes after the feature is over, and the rest of the commentary goes on while we see a black screen. Something like this could have been done.
I read some article that said Kaaka Kaaka was possibly being remade in English. Any confirmation or is it a rumor?
