Using babelfish, I translated the 2 pages from amazon.de featuring the 2 separate 2-disc dvds from KSM -- it appears that the sources are different. The runtime too appears to be different.

The DVDs may have different edits, but the bottom line is that these are not new, original transfers.

The UK Metrodome DVD remains the best version available.

also check out this 2-disc german edition from KSM GmbH
http://www.amazon.de/Asoka-2-DVDs-Shahr ... 7&sr=1-141

which appears to be different from another 2-disc version from KSM GmbH, titled "Asoka The Great" http://www.amazon.de/Asoka-Great-Specia ... 9&sr=1-266

These discs are both cut. And one of them (the first, I think) has a really bad picture quality.
The only German DVD (by REM) that has got the original runnig time has no Hindi track.

The disc by Prism Leisure is the best until now.

BUYER BEWARE!

Just received my copy of Asoka DVD from(hoping to get the official Metrodome DVD): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asoka-Kareena-K ... 741&sr=1-2

With this exact cover below

...and guess what? They sent me an exact rip-off of the R1 First look DVD release with the burnt in subtitles, no extra features and a very poor PQ.

Yes, the Metrodome DVD is out of print now sadly. The current UK release by In2Film is as you described.

if the specs on the amazon page are any different from those on the dvd, you can request amazon to take it back.
