Could it be on purpose ??, just live Yuva - Blue is often related to calmness, stability, confidence etc.. - having not seen the movie i cant comment on its relevance or purpose , maybe the BLUE tint is on purpose ? and the "somehow" the theater print was messed up ( i think one of wong kar wai films (Days of being wild ?) suffered from this as well ) - perhaps people who saw it in india can comment on this - anyone sanjay perhaps ?

Looks like the DVD is missing subtitles even though it has a menu with a selection of various subtitles

I don't remember the film having any blue tint in the theater. It is definately a special effect added by Yash Raj . :)

Can staff please PUT "REM shots on p.3" also?

Comparatively between REM release & YRF release - EXACT frame here.

Image
Image

REM release is bottom and is progressive PAL...movie length is approximately 40 seconds differential. Audio on REM is horrible @ 384kbps DD5.1 (hindi track; german also available and sounding much better)
YRF is @ 448kbps and well we know how well YRF mixes its audio.

YRF is NOT the full-frame as comparatively with REM it is about 2-4 pixels LESS. REM does incude those 2-4 pixels on both sides, BUT HUGELY crops bottom, and also on top slightly. REM comes to about a 2.35 (although I feel 2.33 is what it should have been). YRF is @ 2.29 I believe...just looking at it. Movie from what I remember was originally shot @ 2.35...which is what I think REM was trying to do...MAKE it fit.

If you need further screens for comparison...I've got all 4 discs :) 2 each from these two companies.
