is the metrodome dvd going to be cut????at the bbfc it states it as 169m 3s under metrodome...and it was classified after the release of the movie in india so it can only be the dvd film.most theatrical releases state it as 176m 10s.does this mean it will be cut 7 minutes!!!

NTSC->PAL differences (PAL plays about 4% faster) - so it wont be cut.

I'll be checking for the quality, the sound especially. If that is good then I might invest in it!!!

I've already got it on pre-order - hopefully by next week I should have it (the PAL Metrodome DVD). Expecting quality on both video and sound fronts.

I'm not sure what’s happening with the R1 version, no official details have been announced yet loads of R1 stores have it on pre-order - some for March release others for April ???

Hi everyone,

For those of us in Toronto, log onto http://www.jumbovideo.com or click the link below and you will find that they have Asoka listed on their site. Does not give a list price or release date, anybody have any more info?

Probably a pre-order for R1 when it appears, but also says;

'Unfortunately, this item is currently unavailable for order. Check back for further updates'

Looks like the region one version might be the version without the songs, as it states that its the director's cut. (The director removed the songs for a better narrative, and to make more appeal to wider audiences). I do kow the region two version will have the songs intact, but I wished they would inculde the director's cut version via seamless branching!

As above, the DVD/VHS was reviewd in todays Daily Star.

This assumes preview copies are in existence.
