I was just wondering, about the bit rate of the Shemaroo DVD's. I got Saudagar and Karma a while back, and their bit rate's varies between 2.3-2.5 and does not go beyond 3.0

Also, there is major blurry even when the picture is in motion. Looking at the screenshots here, they seem way better than what my DVD shows. Is it possible that I could have gotten a pirated one. Its definitely on crappy silver media as well. I bought the two DVD's from Indiaplaza a while back, and never got around to watching them till now.

Any info would help. The screenshots on the main site reviewing the DVD are also way better than what my DVD shows.

You sure have a pirate. Not only a pirate, but copied by someone who doesn't know how to or didn't want to make exact code copies.

Both DVDs you mentioned are Pseudo-progressive and bit rate is much higher. The bit rates you mentioned, will make the content fit on one Sigle Layer disc. Check it.

Rana,

I thought the same thing as well. So I guess it is a pirate. Though looking at the cover and even the art work on the disk you really can't tell if its pirate or not.

Do you know where to get the actual DVD, which online store might have it.

Hello there everyone just to inform you there are 3 versions of this movie Shemaroo, GVI & Eros, now the GVI has horrible quality & suprisingly in the Shemaroo version the climax has missing parts, where Raaj Kumar is beating Amrish Puri also the scene where Vivek Mushran is fighting Amrish Puri's son, I'd say the Eros is the best one to choose

I just told you Gvi is horrible & Shemaroo has missing parts Eros is perfect, If Shemaroo didn't have missing parts that would've been the best

....and if the shemaroo dvd didnt have that massive watermark on it!
