Naven , at first I didnt like to emphasize the point but now I think I should. Please go and read the Box Office report by TARAn ADARSH ( the scumbacg of a reviewer but a trade analyst no doubt) and you will see what we all mean here . It is a flop due to its sheer numbers. If after that you still think its a HIT, then so be it :) No one is gonna disturb you then :D

sknath, naven you guys are both right!! And while we're on Taran Adarsh's report, the guy's on crack and I don't think he knows what he's talking about!! MYKSH is not a big-budget film (but it looks like one) and it will be a hit as compared to its budget... While it might NOT make as much money as lets say Shaheed, it will be a more profitable venture than Shaheed and that is where it counts....

as far as film quality is concerned, I practically like all films as long as its not boring... And I understand where you're coming from SK, I was as pissed as you are when I see Satish Kaushik's films, particularly Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai or the countless family sagas from the 80s. But for the every bad one there is a good film aswell.

My example is this - both Naa Tum Jaano Na Hum and MYKSH are love triangles, family dramas, and similar in style. Yet, I found MYKSH to be entertaining while NTJNH was routine. There are others who think otherwise. I say, watch what you want and let the public decide....

And for creativity, well..... let's see if Ashutosh Gowariker or Farhan Akhtar are one-hit wonders or not.
