crap movie in my opinion!!

have to say another thing.. i downloaded the MCCE version of this movie and i really cannot see the point on any of the "enhancements" people do.. the colours were just so un-natural and the halos were annoying.. so i ended up deleting the rip and watching the dvd9.. its a lot better than the stupid MCCE version doing the rounds1

amir khan is great.. i enjoy his movies but ghajini had more plot holes and cliches in it that I have seen in a while.. somtimes i wondered why aamir even signed this movie.. i prefer seeing him in roles such as TZP and RDB..

Aamir Khan even said himself that people may not accept him in a commercial film at first. But there is no law that he cannot do commercial films right?

Is the USA/UK version also watermarked with the Big Home Video logo throughout the DVD?, & I was also wondering if anybody else has been having problems playing the disk in a blu ray player?

First impressions of the DVD are not great!

Yes, there is a water mark on the US/Canada DVDs, but it not displayed on the entire movie. Honestly the water mark was not an issue as it only came on for about 10-15 seconds then went off I didn't do a count but I think it was one only about 4-5 times during the entire movie. (that too with long gaps after the first one was came on).

If your DVD does not play in the Blu-Ray player it is not the fault of Adlabs / Shemaroo. Blu-Ray players have known issues not playing all standard DVDs. I had a lot of problems with UTV DVDs not working, but on doing a search I found it was nothing to do with UTV as even a lot of Hollywood DVDs won't play in the Blu-Ray player. My issue has since been fixed with a firmware update from Samsung. (I didn't watch Ghajini on my Blu-Ray player) as the TV was in use.

DVD was fine for me (not sure why you think it is not good)? Special effects were amazing to watch.

it's not just blu-ray players that have trouble with shemaroos and utvs, but lots of regular standard dvd players too have problems with quite a few recent and some old dvd releases...

often the problem goes away with a replacement disc -- but sometimes it doesn't. see viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10644

if one disc from a certain lot plays while another from another doesn't, definitely there's something up with the way discs are being replicated.

strangely, problem is limited to discs manufactured in India -- shemaroo, utv new dvds, moserbaer new dvds of utv movies, t-series -- most of the recent dvds, etc.

never ever had problem in playing any dvd sourced from europe or america or japan or south east asia etc.

I've seen the movie on two different PS3s and neither had any play back issues. Both PS3s had the latest firmware updates on them.

the really nice thing abt the big home dvd is its audio -- good job!

saw the movie again on dvd -- on the small screen, it's definitely more believable than on the big screen. but all the same, i tattooed the chapter-by-chapter summary on my body because I couldn't remember any scene more than 15 minutes

yawn! What a waste of tattoos! I thought the worst set back was Aamir's physique, crappy villain, and lousy, let go story, stylized action, was not that refined either with jerky camera.
