Assuming they are willing to do so, how is one supposed to get the disc replaced? I know, I know, it's a bbit too much to expect from a company like T-Series to agree to replace the disc but I thought no harm in asking.

My DVD was duly replaced by T-series with one carrying 5.1, and they have thanked everyone for bringing the error to their notice.

Congratulations :p but did they recall the discs from the market, or did they let the rest of the saps go home with a fancy doblydigital logo on the cover??

it appears they've started recalling discs from retail and replacing them...
they've also stopped payment to the "vendor" responsible.
