Mugambo is unable to get screen shots as he is using winDVD. One of these days Mugambo will have PowerDVD and he will post screen shots.

Mugambo is truly sorry for this inconvenience.

Arsh,

Mugambo kindly requests you for screen shots. This DVD really sucks when it comes to picture quality. However, the 5.1 surround is reasonably good.

just in case you were wondering, the dvd seems to be exactly the same as the "bootleg" r1 dvd that was released earlier

okay... i'm a bit confused:

I am UK resident, but did not buy the ASOKA DVD when it came out due to the following comment by Sharan:
http://www.zulm.net....l=asoka

ie, that the R1 release "Director's Cut" may allow viewing without the songs.... I don't want to discuss if the songs make or break the movie, that is a personal choice, but having the option allows all their preference.

So, is the R1 "director's cut" release able to skip songs ?
Is there any difference between the offical R1 DVD and R2 DVD?
What is the definitive ASOKA DVD to buy ?
Finally, where can I get them from in the UK: cdguru?, play, ?

Please help me on this one.
:wot:

Sorry Arsh bhai - I been off for a few days didn’t read this thread until today. I will re-install ICQ and if you online later, send me the shots too.

PAL R2 Metrodome version remains the definite release for Asoka; it's complete, uncut, excellent video, sound and some extras. Best thing is Bensons World is doing this DVD for £9.99 free delivery worldwide! Check the shopping section out for more info.

BINGO! Ali is in maida now!! WE CAN ALL PUT ASOKA TO REST FOR EVER NOW(doodh ka doodh pani ka pani)
Kiya mugambo,abh bhi khush hua?

CURRENTLY and fortunately I have both r1,bootleg vs genuine version of first look,s THE HIGHLY CONTROVERSIAL R1-RELEASE of ASOKA the Great)not so great) discs!!

No problem, ali, i still have them, pls. keep ur icq on auto accept files from me, so if we are not on line at the same time ,i can still send u without ur needing manual acceptance?
:baaa: :vsneaky:
