24.99 is a joke even american films aren't that expensive unless it is sold at a serious discount around 18-19 pounds i think we should wait to buy it from non-desi retailers at a discount price.....come on play.com get us cheap cheap devdas! :doze:

the cover really looks fabulous! - very worthy of such a great movie - if only i could see it in detail!

anyways, i was just watching Eye on Asia...they were featuring Dola La Re from Devdas, and to say that the print was DISGUSTING is an understatement.

i get better quality when i look at RM files on my tv with a tuner..atleast it had subtitles on the song...

anyways, if that is the REAL dvd then all hope is lost! (however, i am pretty sure that was just a pirate)..

well hope for the best!

guys
remember what happened to the cinema prints when movie was released in theaters
and also given the past performance of EROS dvd's, it does not look any good, as u all know
as far as the cover is concerned, then EROS's covers have always been of pretty good quality

i saw shakti-the power dvd yesterday
i don't have the equipment or the experties to give you review
but as bad as it was, i can say it was crap
it was too contrasty, very bright, picture was shaky
unless it is a pirate :D
i can't really be sure from the cover, b/c the cover does not look like a computer printout
i should have checked the sound to see if it was true 5.1 sound or not, :stupid:
well i hope that it was a pirate

This Sucks man, EROS always does this they shud just release ONE date and stick to it even if it had to be december But makin us wait like this is bullshit! hey were did you get that image of the cover? and someone tell me where i can get the trailor!

PS> The lady at the Video Store Asked her Distributer when Devdas was coming out and he said the are starting to ship next weeks, so lets keep our fingers crossed!

Eye On Asia almost always uses pirate prints to show songs and scenes. Very rarely do they use original DVDs. Even one of the new channels here in Canada called Sur Sagar uses pirate DVDs to show movies and songs most of the time. I work for Rogers Cable and can see the Tamil channels and they too use pirate DVDs to show movies! Looks like pirate is the way to go for everyone now a days unfortunetly.

By doing so, there actually promoting priacy. Yet on there Radio Program, they are almost always warning there viewers of pirated DVDs. There TV & Radio Program are sooo full of crap now a days. They have gone too corporate with the context of there programming. Now I realize that they use HOT name movies from pirated DVDs to redeem there ratings.

BTW, did any of you torontonians know that Dharshan Sahota(from Eye On Asia) is banned from India for life?

Apparently indiaweekly and indianblockbuster.com has it up for purchase so could someone put up some screenshots as soon as possible. I don't know what happened to indofilms.com with their Oct.8th.

EROS those cocksucking faggots have shown the dvd cover on their advert to promote their new online web makeover it also says book ur copy now but from the guestbook views on their website no one has been able to proceed with the booking !!!
