It was quite strange to see the Ayngaran store selling the Pyramid version of the DVD.

Hmmm... best business practices

I saw this one. I thought it was a decent timepass flick. Everyone played their parts nicely. HJ music was above average. The Pooja chick is cute. Asin looked different. Arya did good. But Arindhum Ariyamalum was his best. The transfer quality from AYANGARAN was similar to ZEROS. Absolutely no care went into the transfer.

All looked different because its their first film (for Arya, Pooja & Asin). This was taken 3 years before (I remember the audio release sometime in early 2003 - the name of the movie was Ullam Ketkumae More...) and due to financial crisis, stoped in between, and caused GV's life.

This movie ran well in theatre and is making money for GV Production. They are now comfortable enough to make movies again... but this time they are going to do some Hindi flicks.

I cant believe so many BIG people let GV die, this include his own bro Manirathnam, Rajni, Kamal, Illayaraja - they are all very close to him! I guess when it comes to money, friendship takes the last seat.

I liked the film too. HJ is pretty good these days. Especially his BGMs are youthful.

Well friendship in their world is very superficial.

I saw this movie. Honestly this is a better movie than any of the recent bullshits. Atleast there is no big "aruvaal" or gun shot or rapping or killing.

I am not recommending this movie to anyone, either buy or sell, but if you can take the shit from vijays and ajiths and the likes, then you can take this as well.

Aah Aah (DVD by VGP)

- not too terrible.
- would've been much better if someone else other than SJS was in it.
- concept is different from routine movies.
- could've avoided the smut, the 2 stunts.
- ARRs BGM gives this average film an interenational quality feel. Why is ARR stuck in such projects again???! He should've given music to Anniyan...would've elevated the movie to much greater heights.
- DVD was allright, not too horrible like Arindhum Ariyamalum by VGP. Liked the extra features.

I was really disappointed by the insipid picturization of Mayilagere in Ah Ahh. Overall the film is not very interesting. The dvd had nice picture quality though.

wud've been a much better film if hero was not sjs. it wud've been pretty watchable....also if he avoided all that smutty stuff. song picturizations were disappointing to say the least. ARR shud only work with Manirathnam or Shankar.
