Parampara wasn’t a Yash Raj production anyway. The only films to have been released by YRF on DVD/Blu-ray were YRF home productions, with the exception of the early DVDs that belonged to these studios:
1) B.R. Films
2) Bimal Roy Productions
3) Guru Dutt Productions
4) Prasad Productions
5) Pramod Chakravarty’s films
6) Raj Kapoor (R.K.) films
7) Tilak Productions
... and a few others that I do not recall

Obviously, the publication of these films almost became the death of the company, which compelled them to give up the rights to those films. They only deal with YRF home productions now.

Besides Parampara, Trishul and Deewar are the two other Yash Chopra films that were never authored/published by YRF.
