LOL@Neal14 but your views are misplaced!!

Because I much rather has a sup par dvd of a great movie, than a great DVD of a sub par movie.

this is the exact reason y these arsehole indian dvd companies r screwing people over cos misplaced people like you give them reason to release trash dvds! they should always release a quality dvd no matter what the film content cos one mans good film is another mans bad film.

and the way u put that lagaan being copy of a hollywood film is called a ‘genre’, a type definition that describes a set characteristics of a film. in your world every love story ever made is a copy! hollywood or otherwise cos its been done since the cavemen era

The fundamentals of a good movie, is a good STORY, GOOD ACTING, and GOOD PRESENTATION.

good story?? So your saying as long its good its ok… not original! ??? at least you put good presentation, cos to me every other story is the same, its the way its executed and told that makes it good or bad, with some style, fineness and good technical values

back to topic; jolly you are a complete joke of a person! You can tell how much truth is in that by lookin at his website!!! :bangbang: if its a 3 disc why aint u sellin as a 3 disc on your site

Now so called details are known of this 'triple disc' release, it seems a bit pathetic the likes of Video Sound/GVI/Jolly are pushing this DVD as a '3 disc set' especially as the additional 2 discs have shit all to-do with Aankhen :bangbang: Yash Raj Films had more of a case for pushing the DDLJ DVD as triple disc than the sorry set from Video Sound yet chose not to.

Just a recap on what’s on offer from the Video Sound DVD;

1. Aankehen: anamorphic widescreen, DD5.1 and English subs
2. Audio CD: promotional songs of Kehtaa Hai Dil Baar Baar
3. DVD Best of Khans

Typical greed over quality mentality still running the business, Jolly sort you’re ‘land of the cuckoo’ people out

I would rather buy the pirate than the Video Sound DVD, see my post on this thread

http://www.zulm.net....5;t=913

Video Sound DVDs are not worth the money, they simply don’t play after a few views. This triple disc set is just to push the price of the DVD up to make fast money by ripping people off.

Simple disgraceful.

I think they will give you 3 copies of the same disk since they stop playing after 5 times.

Aankhen DVD is now available for sale at Indiaweekly now: http://www.festasy.com/datacar....Id=4478

It's priced very highly at $18.99, which is extremely outrageous since most of us will never use the other 2 discs. I think this should have remained as a single disc for about $12.99.

Punjabimunda, my brother is a diehard Akshay Kumar fan, so we have to GET it now! Besides, AB is so excellent in it and his performance (along with Akshay's) makes up for the higher price.

However guys, I must advise you to rent this one first. I just found out that there were some problems with one of the batches of Aankhen and had to be returned. I don't exactly know what these problems are though. The place I rent movies from should be getting a newer shipment soon, so I'll definately rent before I order. I've had some bad experiments with Media Dimensions and Video Sound DVDs in the past so i don't wanna pay for a faulty disc.

A friend of mine in Canada emailed me saying there’s' already pirate Aankhen DVD out, this pirate is a replicated first disc from the so called triple disc set and is being sold much cheaper than the inflated Video Sound set. So if you guys want the Aankhen film only with out the bloated garbage extras DVDs buy this version. The cover is same as the Video Sound version but on the spine sleeve instead of saying “Collector’s Edition 3 disc set” is it just says “Collector’s Edition”.

Looks like the pirates are playing Video Sound at the own con game. Good for them I say!

if it's the same game I played on the website for the movie then all I can say it makes playing defender on a ZX81 seem like an appealing prospect.
