The Canadian site (free shipping within Canada) doesnt list BOLLYWOOD HORROR COLLECTION V.01-B

That site you mentioned Rana Bhai is the US site and they charge $5.95 US for shipping to Canada (free only within US). So total is $19.23 US converted to $21.31 Canadian. $1.06 more expensive than what I paid :D 8)

I got free shipping because I added another DVD to make it qualify for free shipping. It was Canadian site, Amazon.ca

the DVD should have hit the store shelves by now......watch out for my interviews on the DVD.....lemme know what you think though i reckon i appear far more frightening than the great Ajay Aggarwal, unfortunately.

both films reviewed at the http://www.thehotspotonline.com website...still the home of South Asian Horror???

just watched it today. Omar bhai :D , i loved the interviews.

man, u dont look more frightening than Ajay Agarwal.   in fact, of all the people that were interviewed, u made the most sense and ur english was fantastic compared to the others

and that documentary on the Lollywood action films  I couldnt stop laughing at the sight of oversized women in thunder tights

quality of the DVD overall is very good but its the special features i loved the most

Will we see some more Ramsay gems from Mondo Macabro????

cant wait for DAHSHAT, GUEST HOUSE, VEERANA, AUR KAUN, DO GAZ ZAMEEN KE NEECHE and TAHKHANA :P :P

I can vouch for this.

Recd my pkg today, from Amazon.ca.

Quick check:
Sure, it' Progrssive.
Full Dbl layer capaciy used for 140 min feature. Bit rate mostly above 6 mbps, touching 9.5 mbps at times.

------------------------------
Bandh Darwaza: Bit rate is even higher.
All bit space used for 145 min film only, Bit rate aprox 7.5 mbps.

-----------------------------

BTW, no body mentioned Ramay's film titled SAAMRI yet ??

What do they mean "we have therefore decided to include this print as a bonus extra feature?"

Film Critic: OMAR KAHN -----Is that you, tarantan ??

Sure, the doccumentary is really well presented, the way it should be.

------------------------------------------------------------
It had been long time since I heard these songs:

Disco:
Main Hoon Akeli Raat Jawan

-----------------------------------------------------------

Romantic:
(Male)
Woh Beete Din Yaad Hain
----
----
Bus Y a a d e i n Baakee

--------------------------------------------------------------

Romantic:
(Female)
Woh Beete Din Yaad Hain

---------------------------------------------------------------

Tribal:
Hum Jispe Marte Hain
Aj Usko Marna Hai

were so disappointed by the Source print of VEERANA that it had to be dropped from the line up. i am sure there are plans to unleash a few more pretty soon though

That’s really sad news! VEERANA is a gem.
The clips from Veerana on the South Asian Horror documentation look quite good, much better than my VCD. Wouldn’t this quality be enough for at least a special feature?

If not: Here’s my wish for Volume 2: DAK BANGLA + Special feature DO GAZ ZAMEEN KE NEECHE
(Vol. 3: Mohan Bhakri’s KHOONI MAHAL, please!)

and yes.....i can be found blabbing about the Ramsay's and other horrors on the interview on the Double DVD set. let me know what you think!!!!

Really interesting information, especially about Purana Mandir, its time and audiences! Thank you very much!

:D

This is truly an OUTSTANDING release. MondoMacabro and Omar Khan deserve such a big applause! The first time I saw Purana Mandir I was 9 and remember being so scared that I did not use the bathroom at night for a week. The transfers here are so much better than the VCDs I own.

Look forward to them releasing other Ramsay and Mohan Bhakri stuff. Cool!
